A little about my journey, why I fell in love with marketing, and why I created Klein Marketing to help Jacksonville small businesses grow.

It all started in 2018.

I had been a stay-at-home mom for about 10 years, but I always kept my foot in the door by teaching yoga. I had worked in the fitness industry before becoming a mom, and I loved finding creative ways to build little businesses around the things I enjoyed. Over the years, I started mini businesses offering yoga parties for kids and moms, Teen Yoga, and Kids Yoga.

In 2018, my kids went off to school, and I decided it was time for my next chapter. I started attending medical massage therapy school because I thought it would be a great opportunity to help people who were in pain in a more hands-on way.

I started working in 2019 and shortly decided to open my own business.

Being a new business owner was exciting, but it definitely came with its challenges. The work itself was physically demanding, but one of my biggest obstacles was figuring out how to get people through the door. I was relatively new to the industry, and I quickly realized that being good at what you do isn't enough if people don't know you exist.

So, I started learning.

I created a Google Business Profile and an Apple Business profile. I learned how to build my own website. I asked clients for reviews and word-of-mouth referrals. I started using social media and looked for ways to build my online presence.

I didn't have a marketing background. I was simply figuring it out as I went.

And before I knew it, I was booked out six weeks in advance.

That was when I really started to fall in love with the business side of things.

I loved being a business owner and having the independence that came with it. I definitely work best on my own, and I loved knowing that the work I was doing was helping people get out of pain. But I eventually realized that what I enjoyed most wasn't necessarily the service itself; it was the creativity, learning how to grow my digital presence, and seeing the results of the things I was doing.

I loved figuring out what worked.

I loved watching my online presence grow.

And I loved seeing my schedule fill up because I was doing the right things to help my business get noticed.

Eventually, I decided to close my massage therapy business and take a position working in marketing.

That experience confirmed something I had already started to realize: I really loved marketing!

I enjoyed the creative process, learning new tools, figuring out how businesses could improve their online presence, and finding ways to help them connect with the people they wanted to reach.

Working for someone else was a great experience, but I also realized that I really missed the independence of being my own business owner.

So, I decided to take the leap and start Klein Marketing.

Today, I have a few clients, and I'm excited to continue growing and working with more small businesses in Jacksonville and small businesses nationwide. My goal is to work with businesses in the medical, dental, and service industries; especially other small business owners who may not have the time, knowledge, or desire to manage all of their marketing themselves.

One of the tools I have really enjoyed working with is Wix. I love that I can connect so many pieces of a business's digital presence in one place. I can build and design a website, optimize SEO, review analytics, connect Google Business Profiles, and continually make improvements based on what the data is showing.

It has become a tool that I genuinely enjoy using, and I've seen great results from the process.

But more than anything, I want my clients to know that I genuinely care about seeing their businesses grow.

Because I've been there.

I know what it's like to start a business and wonder, How am I going to get people to find me? I know what it's like to have to figure things out as you go. And I know how rewarding it feels when all of that hard work starts to pay off.

If you decide to work with me, my goal is to make sure your marketing is done right. If there is something I don't know, I'll research it. If there is a question I can't answer, I'll find the answer. And if I see an opportunity that could help your business, I'll tell you about it.

I'm still growing Klein Marketing, and I'm excited about what comes next.

My hope is to build genuine relationships with the businesses I work with and become someone you can rely on; not just to manage your marketing, but to genuinely care about helping your business succeed.

That's why I started Klein Marketing.
